Minoxidil

Minoxidil is a hair growth treatment, approved by the FDA, to help treat hair loss for both men and women. It stimulates hair follicles, lengthening the growth phase of the hair cycle and enhancing blood circulation on the scalp. This treatment comes in an oral and topical form. Topicals can be customized to create compounds with additional specialized ingredients for individuals. 

Apply the solution directly to the scalp, focusing on areas of thinning or hair loss, and gently massage it into the skin. It's recommended to use the topicals consistently as directed to achieve the best results.

Results with Minoxidil topicals and orals can be seen after three to six months. If treatment is not used consistently, hair loss may continue. 

Side effects that come with using Minoxidil can be itching, irritation, dryness, and unwanted facial hair growth if topical runs onto the face.
